Once the name of an important Roman city near Spilt in Croatia, Salona Yachts was formed in 2002 as a branch of AD Plastiks - a 40-year-old firm building small parts for French car manufacturers. Later they formed Salona Group comprising of Salona Yachts and Salona Charter based at a marina at Split, the perfect location for potential clients to test a boat for a few days.

Since its formation and with over 45 years of Yacht building experience, Salona have won many awards for quality through the noise of the yachting industry.

Salona Yachts is represented in the UK by Salona Yachts UK based in Poole and Parker Adams Boat Sales based out of Hamble Point Marina in the heart of the Solent.

Salona Yachts UK is run by Russell Hodgson who has been selling premium performance Sailing Yachts for over 25 years. He is pleasantly surprised by the high level of performance, finish quality and excellent standard equipment that Salona Group employ.
